We are a friendly and welcoming club that plays at Copmanthorpe Sports Centre on Wednesday and Friday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. We welcome new members of all abilities, from beginners to experienced players. We play with plastic shuttles and have a range of social events throughout the year.
We are a friendly club that plays at The Mount School, York, on Friday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. We welcome new members who wish either to play socially or would like the opportunity to play league badminton. We also participate in the York & District badminton league. You are invited to join us for a drink at the pub afterwards. We also organise social events.
We play at Francis Scaife Sports Centre in Pocklington. Club nights and matches are on Mondays 20:00 to 22:00. The club provides plastic shuttles for club night / matches. Afterwards we often to go to the aptly named Feathers pub in the town centre!
Our numbers are dwindling at this long-standing and successful club, so we look forward to welcoming some new members. We are a friendly and enthusiastic group of players of varying skill levels and age. The emphasis is on the fun. Please join us to ensure the future of our club. There is no annual subscription and you only pay for each session you play (£2 per weekly session). We have spare rackets.
We play on Thurs nights at Brayton Academy. We are a competitive & friendly club having Ladies, Gentlemen & Mixed teams in the York & District League. We also have a social side to the club with social events throughout the year. We play with plastic shuttles and cater for experienced, intermediate and improving players.
We are a competitive but friendly club, with mixed and level doubles teams in the York and Castleford leagues. We are also a social club and after each club night a few of us often go for a drink at a nearby pub in Tadcaster. Throughout the year there are a range of club social events organised usually around Boston Spa or York.
This club is only open to students of the university of york.
Weekly club sessions on Wednesday 8-9.30pm at Whixley Village Hall. The first 3 sessions are trail sessions at £3 each. Then a seasonal membership is available if you want to join the club
