2. How We Use Your Information

Your email address is used strictly for the following purposes:

• To contact you regarding the status of club requests or updates you submit.
• To maintain a secure environment by preventing spam and unauthorized submissions.

3. Optional Location Use on the Clubs Page Map

On the Clubs page, you can optionally tap Use my current location to place a temporary map pin and sort nearby clubs by distance.

• We only request location after you tap the button and grant browser permission.
• The location is used in your browser session to position the map pin and distance sorting.
• We do not store this location in your account profile or submit it as a club update.
• Your browser and third-party location/map providers may process request or network metadata as part of providing this feature.
• If you request travel-time estimates, our routing provider may receive origin/destination coordinates and related metadata needed to calculate them.
• You can turn location off at any time using Turn off my location.
• If you prefer not to share location, use postcode or address search instead.

4. Optional Analytics Cookies

We use Google Analytics in consent mode to understand page visits and site usage. If you reject analytics cookies, Google Analytics uses cookieless pings with analytics storage denied, which gives us limited aggregate reporting without setting analytics cookies. If you accept analytics cookies, we also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the website. This can include clicks, scrolling, device/browser information, approximate location derived from network information, and session recordings or heatmap data. Microsoft Clarity only loads after you accept analytics cookies, and you can change your choice using the cookie settings link in the site footer.

If you do not want analytics cookies or Microsoft Clarity session recording, choose Reject analytics cookies in the cookie banner. You can change a previous choice at any time by selecting Cookie settings in the footer and choosing Reject analytics cookies. When you reject analytics cookies, we ask Google Analytics not to use analytics storage and we attempt to delete existing Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity cookies for this site.

The site also uses local browser storage for non-analytics preferences, such as remembering your cookie choice, whether alert banners are collapsed, and temporary scroll/navigation state. This storage is used to make the website work as expected and is not used for advertising or session recording.

You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Browser-level blocking may prevent analytics cookies from being stored even if you previously accepted them. Privacy tools, content blockers, or browser settings may also block analytics requests entirely.

You retain full control over your data. You can request complete deletion of your account and associated email address at any time.

If our data collection practices change, we will update this policy and notify active users via email before implementing any new data storage procedures.
